Anything of Value

It is getting hot out there ladies and gentlemen.  That means we need to take care of ourselves better than we normally do just to maintain.  We need to be drinking more water, we need to make sure we don’t over exert ourselves, and we need to know when enough is enough.  Otherwise we are going to get ourselves in hot water.

This leads me to the topic of this month’s blog.  My main point this month is that anything of value is worth maintaining.  Think about your car…What if your engine oil light was illuminated.  Would you make plans to change it, or would you just ignore the light and hope it goes away on its own?  Well, if you want your car to work right, you are going to get that oil changed or else you stand to do permanent damage to your cars engine.  So by investing a little in the proper function and maintenance of your car, you can save yourself a lot of money and headaches by not having a crisis on your hands.  A $30 oil change for a health engine is much more advisable then saving that $30 in the short term only to pay out the nose to replace your engine when it is shot.  And talk about the inconvenience of being without transportation while your engine is being rebuilt.

Maintaining your body follows the same premise.  I highly recommend that people take care of themselves, their health, and their bodies before they develop health problems.  One of the best ways to take care of ourselves is to make sure out bodies nervous system is functioning at its very best.  When our nervous system is working normally, all of the tissues in our body function in a harmonious and coordinated fashion.  This makes our lives so much healthier, fulfilling, and satisfying.   Versus if we let ourselves go and let nature takes its course on us.  Before long, our spine is going to shift out of it’s proper position, our nerves will be pinched, and the mental impulses that control all of our bodies functions will be interfered with.  Over time as our nerves stay in this state, it will lead to cause our body to reach a state in which there is a lack of ease.  This lack of ease is the precursor to disease, sickness, and illness.  And if left unchecked, this nerve interference can eventually be the original cause for our failing health and early demise.

Just like you wouldn’t let your care drive around without engine oil, you should not walk around with your body’s nervous system compromised.  Both your car and your health have value and while there may be room for an argument here, it is plain to see that your health is far more important than any vehicle you will ever own in your life.  So, if you value your health, then know how important a healthy spine and nervous system are to your overall quality of life!
